Time to Enjoy the Final
One week to go and I'm excited.

I'm one of David Moyes biggest critics. Never wanted him at the club . Knew I would be hating his tactics, subs and ignoring youngsters. He is Mr Negative for his football.
Declan's last game sadly which could have been different with a proactive manager
It's time to enjoy this week and a win in a final at last,2006 still hurts.
I'll be sick if Moyes stays next season but I'll be more sick, gutted annoyed etc if we lose.
Win it then please leave.

Everyone enjoy this week and let's celebrate together.

But the idea that you ENJOY a final? HA!

Re: Time to Enjoy the Final
If you can't enjoy this week then not sure why you are supporting West Ham.

Realistically winning this is the peak of our powers, its this or one of the domestic cups as the only things we can win. The only trophies we can achieve and we are in the final of probably the 2nd best option?

Yes the season was shit but we've got to a european final for the first time in 47 years. It's once in a generation stuff for most of us, and this season alot of supporters have had a blinding trip across europe culminating in a beautiful city like Prague.

For those calling it tin pot competition I ask you this..... would you rather win the league cup or this? Yes the FA Cup is no 1 for us all but if you are expecting us to win that every season you will not take much enjoyment if any from supporting West Ham.

Winning this competition is near to the max at what we could have achieved this season, it gives us Europe again and we will have seen us win a trophy.

I personally can't wait for Prague and the game, it will be a trip you remember for the rest of your life if we manage to do it. How can you not sit back and enjoy it?

Re: Time to Enjoy the Final
So proud to be West Ham and so proud to have every single player in our team / squad / club...

When was supporting West Ham ever about being consistent / everything going our way? It's a rollercoaster and there is so much optimism for 2024, especially Paqueta and Bowen with Scamacca coming back who I think will be a beast (irrespective of Antonio's comments). Zouma and Aguerd starting 2024 together and some prospective full backs / midfield recruitment in the UK is much welcomed.

Maybe Declan will stay if we make Europa League and we promise some big signings... You just never know and I I don't think it's locked in yet, you just never know with Mr West Ham Mark Noble around.

Regardless, I am going to support the team, the coach and the club wholeheartedly. Everyone has contributed to getting to this final and I hope for all of us that we can get the win. I will be celebrating for weeks / months / for life.

Well done Moyes on the first European final of this century and in 58 years.

Football is a crazy sport, especially with West Ham, here in Australia, if teams win / lose it annoys them for an hour or two. With West Ham, it literally ruins the start of the week but no matter how good / bad there is always optimism and belief we can do it....

I hope this is our fairytale ending after a challenging year and 2 seasons of 50+ games for the team.

Fortunes Always Hiding and all that

Prediction: 3-1 win

Last nights dream (and the night before): 1-1 and Declan intercepts from deep and does another hero run to score in the last 5 minutes of the game to go and we hold on in a nervy 6+ minutes of added on

Mex - Yea, an awful cowardly thread, just to have yet another dig. The OP sounds like a salesman, opens up with a pleasant intro, then gets to the point of the call, and then signs of with 'thanks for your time have a lovely evening'. Pathetic.

Getting in a final to have the chance to win a trophy dont please everyone, strange fans, probably best if these wankers went elsewhere, perhaps find an American sport?

Re: Time to Enjoy the Final
I was nervous for a few days after the semi final just thinking about the final and also after watching Fiorentina vs Inter last week.

I’ve been fairly relaxed the past week but come next Monday I will be bricking it again.

Haven’t felt this nervous on a build up to a match since the play off final against Blackpool 11 years ago.

I couldn’t get a ticket for that match but travelled to Wembley anyway and watched it in a pub close to the stadium and when the final whistle went I legged it down Wembley Way and managed to get inside as they opened the gates for people to get out and I saw us lift the trophy and the celebrations.

It was a thread to be positive but someone thought others weren't entitled to be positive because unlike him they hadn't changed their minds multiple times.
